Here is our house as we listed it in June of 2014. I think we did a good job.

Here are the photos from the listing for our house when we bought it in 2010. I certainly don’t miss the dark colors and the famous “banana boat” fan. It’s amazing to look back and think about all the changes we made since then. Some highlights:
- painted every room
- replaced all the carpet
- replaced every light fixture and outlet
- replaced every door knob and hinge
- added window trim in the bedrooms and kitchen
- updated the deck
We came a long way!

A new chapter begins for the Moose family tonight. Our house went on the market today. We scheduled our first showing within the first hour of it being listed, and they’re coming back tomorrow morning. A good sign, I think. I hope…

This is how these under-the-weather girls got creative on their rainy day. They colored with markers in the morning and then painted in the afternoon.

Tonight was Abby’s first Funastics class (a short-term, fun gymnastics class). If you look closely, you’ll see our Abby (in her black leotard) walking across the balance beam.
Parents were able to watch the class. There were four classes going on simultaneously in this very large room. I didn’t get to hear much, but I could see what was going on. It was a surprising and interesting experience. It was neat watching her instructor show the group of kids (there were seven of them) what they were supposed to do and then watching them try it. Abby remembered what she was shown (like three tasks on various pieces of equipment) and tried it all. It was pretty impressive that she not only remembered what she was shown, but that she tried everything! She didn’t seem shy or uncertain. Afterward, she asked when she got to go back. I think she enjoyed it!
