“Mama, come see my new trick.” I didn’t catch a picture of the proud spidergirl when she reached the top, but she had a huge smile.

Mark this off the childhood must do list: riding the slide at Burnet Woods. Abby loved it!

Sometimes the things that Gwen and Josie say are so surprisingly articulate (for little people). For example, with a funny look on her face, Gwen explained to us tonight why she doesn’t like to wash her hair. “Because it’s not necessary,” she said. It is, but I was impressed with her response (and thought the look on her face was priceless.)

Another Easter Egg hunt! The girls met the Easter Bunny, and came home with far too much candy from those Moeller Rugby players.

Goodbye Pack-n-Play! Gwen was so thrilled to finally get to take a nap in her new naptime bed. Big girl! Why am I feeling the tiniest bit sad?

What a fun day! We enjoyed a Madeira Moms Easter Egg hunt at a park this morning, and then a neighborhood hunt at a neighbor’s house this afternoon. It was really cool to see just how many little kids actually live in our neighborhood. Lots! And by far, the funniest story from today was that this morning Josie filled her basket with only white eggs.

Abby had a blast at her first soccer practice. The coaches did a great job disguising instruction as fun games and the kids made a ton of progress. Abby is surprisingly good at getting and controlling the ball. The night ended with a short game against another team.

Perhaps as a testament to how much fun they had this morning, the “best” photos I could capture at Wee Wednesday at the Art Museum were of their backs. Busy, busy!
