Class of 2028! Abby was so excited to start school today. The bus picked her up at 8:33, but she was ready to leave at 7:00. “When can I go? When does the school bus get here? Is it time yet?”

Much fun was had at Angel and Kyle’s wedding.

The girls are still talking about our trip to Coney Island last night. A sample conversation:
Gwen - “I rode the roller coaster!”
Josie - “I did not. Too scary! But, I liked the FAST slide. And the ferris wheel, and, and I did not ride the boats.”

One last Mama and Abby day before school starts. Pumping water and finding frogs at the Highfield Discovery Garden was fun, but eating a burrito almost as big as your head was amazing.

Fun times at the Deer Park festival, especially for Abby. She loved her first ride on a roller coaster, and a Ferris wheel.

I took the pictures, but they did all this brave climbing all by themselves.

Our first out-of-town trip with all three girls was a big success. We drove to Columbus, stayed at a hotel, went swimming, and went to the Columbus Zoo.

Even though the hotel’s pool was filled almost entirely with chlorine and the zoo had more rides and souvenir stalls than animals, we had a blast. Our girls really enjoyed the adventure.

We’re already looking forward to our next trip in September.

I have no idea where the idea came from, but Abby designed these outfits because they’re “tough army girls.”
