Mooserific!

The results of the twin DNA test are back, and these two rascals are in fact identical twins! I told the girls and Gwen asked “is that the same or different?” I said the same. And she said “but I want to be different!” I assured her that they are still unique, but that now we know why so few people can tell them apart. What a surprise!

I think Abby’s team won the snowman-building contest. Of course, they had the advantage of seeing ours from earlier in the day.

Our brave girl suddenly grew timid while posing with two ballerinas at the Ballet’s production of Cinderella today.

Sick girls do take naps.

We were inspired by Olive Us to make hand cookies today. They were a hit!

We’re finally satisfying our curiosity with a twin zygosity DNA test. I think they’re fraternal, John and Abby vote identical, and Gwen and Josie both say “we’re different!”

We had another great Girl Scouts meeting today! The girls earned certificates for the “Friendly and Helpful” petal. We talked about what it means to be friendly, how to be helpful, made Daisy friendship chains, and more. They all seemed to have a good time!

The highlight of our tour was meeting Wart, of course.

It was a good afternoon for building castles.

You know you have an excited new reader when she takes time out from playing with friends on Girls Night to read a story to her buddy.

Her first snow day! Abby had a good time frolicking with friends instead of going to school today. (And I enjoyed capturing this photo of Nora in her silly hat!)

Gwen was the only one brave enough and/or well enough to join me in the snow this morning. We had a good time together!
