Abby had a blast celebrating her 6th birthday with these silly girls!

I am so proud of these Daisy Girl Scouts (and sisters)! They all did such a great job hiking and creeking today at French Park! And, they had a really good time too!

Abby really knows how to celebrate a 6th birthday! We had a day filled with fun and friends!

We all had a great time with our Koester friends at storytime and Smale riverfront park today.

These silly girls wanted their pictures taken in the tall grass near Costco! I guess they can appreciate something pretty in nature wherever they find it.

Abby and crew planted an apple tree yesterday – a gift that keeps on giving!

Abby was all smiles and did a wonderful job at her “Totally 80’s” dance recital!

We spent our first Mama and Abby day of the summer riding bikes at Sharon Woods, and hiking at both Whitacre Park and French Park! Our first bike ride together outside of our neighborhood was fun, but not as much fun (for Abby) as walking in the creek. Abby delighted in skipping along the creek rocks at French Park.

Someone may have had too much fun with Emma and Tessa today!

Someone’s list of summer accomplishments keeps growing. First she learned to ride a two-wheeler, then she passed the deep water test at the KHCC pool, and now today she not only passed the deep water test at the JCC, but she also mastered the diving boards! And it’s only week 1 of summer break!

We spent the first day of summer vacation on bikes and picnicking at Smale Riverfront Park with Auntie Em.

This is how Abby kicked off her summer vacation – by learning to ride a bike! Grandpa is an excellent teacher.
