What a fun day (and first time for Gwen and Josie)!

Gwen declared that our hike at French Park today was her “most favorite playgroup ever!”

These “some pig” fans enjoyed their first time at a fair.

Even though it rained on us, we still enjoyed our first FC Cincinnati game - especially since they won 2-1!

The last day at camp was a wet one! We spent some time in vans and were dismissed early, but they still had fun crafting, getting their faces painted, eating snow cones, making masks, and playing pictionary.

The word of the morning for day four of Girl Scout camp was games! The girls invented a new sport, changed the rules for games, and created new party games - all to earn their Making Games badge. They rounded out the day by making sun prints, creating photo frames, and playing drip drip drench.

Girl Scout camp day 3 started off with our girls leading the rest of camp in the opening flag ceremony. After that, the day flew by with a talk about graphic design, cards for a service project, a nature scavenger hunt, sun s'mores, a group skit, a spider web craft, singing, creek time, hiking, and more!

We had another good day at Girl Scout camp! In addition to hiking and creeking, the girls showed off their storytelling and drawing skills for our all-camp comic, added to their nature notebooks, learned fun Girl Scout games from the Red Unit, tie-dyed t-shirts, played drip drip drench, sang songs to the Pixies, and more!

Girl Scout camp at French Park day 1. The girls were enthusiastic, and the weather was agreeable - a recipe for success! We hiked, spent time in the creek, started our nature crafts by creating a nature notebook, decorated bandanas (an important camp accessory), designed a “thought bubble” to represent our unit at camp, played drip drip drench, learned some camp games and songs, and more! Whew!

They didn’t get any paid customers, but they liked car washing so much that they cleaned our van twice!

Kenwood Hills neighborhood 4th of July parade!

Fourth of July in Kenwood Hills! Josie ate way too much cotton candy, Abby enthusiastically helped with concessions, and Gwen dove for the rocket in the deep end until nine. Another fun neighborhood parade and party!
