Big day! Easter egg hunt fun AND a new baby!

Leaving for vacation from Cincinnati and heading home from Georgia

Thanks to a pool “maintenance issue,” we had a fun last morning exploring our community hall and pool, and pool-hopping at the Disney Beach & Yacht Club!

A few more Animal Kingdom photos. Gwen and Abby loved riding the Expedition Everest roller coaster. We all enjoyed the Finding Nemo musical, especially since it got us off our feet, out of the afternoon sun, and away from the massive crowds for a bit.

We had a great day at Animal Kingdom! These photos were some highlights from Discovery Island and Africa. We especially loved the African safari and food, the Lion King show, and the Nature Explorerer scavenger hunt!

Our “restful” resort day at Disney included a thunderstorm, high winds, and cooler temps. We still enjoyed some arcade fun, lunch at Disney Springs, a surrey bike ride around the Boardwalk, swimming, a boat ride, and entertaining shows on the Boardwalk. Thank goodness the pools are heated!

We had a magical day at Magic Kingdom. Abby and Gwen loved Big Thunder Mountain. Josie loved Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger spin, and got a big kick out of the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. The crowds were massive! With a three hour wait, we didn’t get to ride Seven Drawfs Mine Train, but we did get to ride almost everything else on our list and more. We were there first thing at rope drop and then stayed for the closing fireworks.

Our first day at Disney, a resort day at the Boardwalk Inn, was so much fun! The girls especially LOVED the water slide! (We talked Josie, our cautious rider, into trying it. Her reaction: “I actually liked that!” And then she rode it non-stop for an hour.)
