Letters to Santa!

We happily spent Black Friday morning at home, dressed in our Christmas finery, decorating the tree.

The kindergarteners put on quite a show.

We had an awesome time at our first Daisy Girl Scout meeting today! Abby already has the Girl Scout promise memorized. Does that mean we did a good job as leaders?

2/3 of a cord. My stacking helpers were awesome and their price was great: two cookies per kid. Is that exploitation?

First parent-teacher conference under our belts!

Once again, Summit Park was a hit this morning. Great day for it too – seventy degrees in November!

Two months ago, she could not read or write much. Now she’s writing sentences with star words, and trying to figure out how to read and spell words phonetically. Kindergarten learning is pretty awesome!

It was a good birthday.

What fun we had with friends and family this Halloween!

Although Josie fairly quickly stopped being cooperative, the photographer did manage to capture one really nice picture for our very first family photo. I like it!

Fall leaf fun has finally returned!

Like Ladybug Girl, Abby enjoys decorating rocks.

Gwen and Josie decided to work on puzzles today. They each picked one out, pulled the puzzle pieces out of the bags, and got to work. Josie lost interest two seconds later, but Puzzle Master Gwen quickly finished her puzzle by herself and got out another. With some things they are definitely very different little people!
